| Suedia prima pop exportul de anii'90, Marie Fredriksson (n. Gun-Marie Fredriksson, 30 mai 1958, Östra Ljungby, Suedia) şi Per Gessle
(n. 12 ianuarie 1959, Halmstad, Suedia), sa bucurat de succes

imagine izbitoare şi prinde pop / rock melodii. Gessle became a solo artist in the early 80s having previously played in the new wave band Gyllene Tider.
